The Experience

More Than a Game

Mah Jongg is the perfect group activity — it requires communication, focus and a bit of friendly competition. Jill’s team sessions introduce your group to American Mah Jongg from the ground up: by the end of the afternoon everyone is sitting around a real game together.

No experience needed. No equipment to bring. Just show up ready to play.

How a Team Session Works

1

Meet the Tiles

Jill introduces the suits, honours, flowers and jokers — every tile explained in plain language so the whole group gets up to speed together.

2

Learn the Moves

Dealing, the Charleston, picking, throwing and calling tiles — the full flow of an American Mah Jongg game, walked through step by step.

3

Play Together

The session ends with real games at the table. Jill circulates to keep everyone on track and answer questions as they come up.

4

Take It Home

Participants leave knowing how to play a full game of American Mah Jongg — and knowing where to find the community to keep playing.
