Turn Play & Calling

Turn Order

After the Charleston, play moves around the table starting with East, with each player drawing and discarding in turn.

A normal turn is simple: draw one tile from the wall, then discard one tile face-up. Play continues in this rotation until someone declares Mah Jongg or the wall runs out.

Example

If you're seated South, your turn comes right after East discards — unless another player calls East's discard first.
