Wall Game

How a Wall Game Happens

If the wall runs out of playable tiles before anyone completes a hand, the round ends with no winner — known as a Wall Game.

Play simply stops once the last available tile has been drawn and discarded without a Mah Jongg call. No one scores for that hand, and the group moves on to deal the next one.

Example

In a close game, a Wall Game can happen when several players are all one or two tiles away from Mah Jongg but the wall empties first.
