Exposures
Concealed Hands
Some hands on the card require the entire hand to stay hidden — no exposures of any kind — right up until the winning tile completes it.
A single called discard, even early in the hand, disqualifies a player from any Concealed-only hand for the rest of that round. Concealed hands are typically worth more points because of how restrictive they are.
Example
If you're chasing a Concealed hand and call a discard out of habit, you've locked yourself out of that pattern for the rest of the hand.
